Microsoft Ships pre-RTW version of Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 to select few

Microsoft is just about ready to deliver the final version of its latest browsers for Windows 7 – Internet Explorer 10.

In an email to select few testers, the Windows 8 maker has revealed that the recently delivered build of Internet Explorer is going to be the "last pre-RTW (release to Web/final) build of the browser that will be made available through Connect." The email went on to say that there was no release date fixed yet for the final version but, Microsoft does stress that the testers should provide inputs, if any, promptly.

No further information is available as yet from Microsoft directly regarding this release. Back in October, Microsoft announced the plans for releasing the preview version of Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7. The preview version of the browser was equipped with the new user interface and it was optimized for touch.  The preview version also came with improved security and was compliant with HTML5 and CSS3 standards.

It took over one and a half years for the preview version of Internet Explorer 10 to appear on Windows 7 and the final version should probably be out before its two years between the initial announcement and the final release.
