The hacker posted the information on Pastebin yesterday and the top of the post contains the banner 'OpFreeAssange'. The hacker however has stressed that he/she is not a member of the notorious hacktivist group Anonymous. There are a total of 5 posts that start with the name #OpFreeAssange.
Police have said that they are investigating the breach and they have also confirmed that the information posted online had been "stored on a database linked to the public Safer Neighbourhoods pages of the external Constabulary website".
"We continue to investigate and have taken steps to further strengthen security around our website as a precaution," the police said.
