This news came to light after a court document appeared online, through Wired [below], which was filed by the US Government as a request to the US district Attorney. The US Gov put forward an adjournment request "in light of the defendant's ongoing cooperation with the Government." The request has been accepted and now the case has been adjourned till 22 February, 2013.

The six months doesn’t seem like a long enough period but considering that the hacker is probably going to spend rest of his life behind bars, these six months would be welcome relief for the hacker. The Lulzsec head has already pleaded guilty to 12 offences and according to the FBI Sabu could be facing a maximum sentence of 124 years and six months.
