Retailers Start Selling $249 32GB Nexus 7 Tablet

It seems that retailers are not able to hold their horses as reports of 32GB Google Nexus 7 being already on sale are flowing in.

Droid-life.com reports that Office Depot has put up the 32GB Nexus 7 tablet in its store with a price tag of $249 [picture below]. This particular report should probably put an end to the prelaunch rumors and predictions that were centered on today's canceled Google event.  From the photo it is also evident that the 16 GB Nexus 7 has received a price cut and is down to $199.

Office Depot is not alone as online retailer, Newegg, has also listed the 32GB Nexus 7 with a $249 price tag. From the looks of it users can actually add the device to their card and order it but, there is a catch. Only one tablet per customer is currently allowed.

The product listing on Newegg’s site doesn’t match vis-à-vis the rumors about Nexus 7 featuring HSPA+ 3G connectivity. Earlier there were rumors that the 32GB variant will be shipping on October 24, which have already been proved wrong. Other reports are indicating that Google may launch a $99 variant of the Nexus 7 tablet, which if true, would give other tablet vendors a run for their money.
