Facebook has just announced embedded posts using which users will be able to embed their posts on all third party websites once the feature is rolled out globally.

Using the embedded posts feature, users will be able to showcase pictures, videos, hashtags and whatever else one may think of to rest of the world. Once public, the option will be accessible through the arrow on the top right hand corner of the status, which when clicked upon will bring up few lines of code that can be pasted to any website on the Internet.

The embedded posts will be completely interactive – meaning other users will be able to reply to the posts, like them, and share them. Facebook has launched the feature only with a few publishers at the moment – “Bleacher Report, CNN, Huffington Post, Mashable and PEOPLE with broader availability coming soon.”

One thing to note here is that only public posts from Pages and Facebook users can be embedded into third party websites.
