Most likely to be used in the upcoming Optimus G2, the display and touch panel in the new panel are almost the same as the space between them is reduced to an extent that they just seem to be one and provide brightness and viewing angles which are greater than any existing displays. The Optimus G2 is likely to feature a 5.2-inch display panel with 2.2 mm thickness and 2.3 mm bezel. The new panel will support resolution of 1,080 X 1,920 pixels with maximum brightness of 535 nits.

LG is set to announce the Optimus G2 in New York next month and as we reported earlier is mostly likely to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It is also rumoured that the smartphone will feature 3GB RAM and will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. If LG does fit in 3GB of RAM, it will be the first manufacturer to do so.
