Announcing the development, Yahoo said, “Beginning today, it’s easier to send files of any size when you’re on the go, with our new Dropbox integration in Yahoo! Mail for Android” in a blog post.

While composing an email, to attach a file, tap the attachment icon and choose “Share from Dropbox.” Users who already have linked their Dropbox accounts will be able to send files right away and those who haven’t done so yet will have to sign on from within the app. Users can share any amount of documents, pictures and videos effortlessly through the Yahoo Mail app for Android.

Yahoo announced Dropbox integration of its web based email service back in April. The latest move brings this integration to mobile app for Android. Yahoo showed off the integration at the first ever Dropbox developer conference. You can download the Android app from Google Play Store.

Yahoo has updated its iOS Yahoo Mail app as well but, doesn’t come with Dropbox integration as yet. Instead the iOS app offers support for Yahoo Small Business Email and multiple accounts. You can download the updated iOS app from iTunes App Store.
