According to the latest tweet by Evleaks, Samsung is going to do away with AMOLED-panel, atleast for the Note 3, and will fit in an LCD one. Samsung is not going to do that for all the Note 3 units though and as it did for the Samsung Galaxy S4’s processor, the Note 3 will feature different panels based on the region in which it is selling.

The reason, we believe, is that the yield of AMOLED-panels have been rather disappointing in recent times and use of Sharp’s IGZO-technology would give Note 3 a battery consumption benefit giving users a lot more time to use their Note 3.

According to other reports, the Note 3 will either be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or Exynos 5 processor, will have 3 GB RAM, 13-megapixel camera with image stabilization, will be 8mm think and will be unveiled on September 4, just before the IFA conference.
