Google has invited Modi to address the summit which will be based on the theme ‘Technology in Politics’ through Google+ hangout. According to a state government release, before addressing the Summit, Modi will also be interacting with the Chairman of Google Inc., Mr. Eric Schmidt through Google+ Hangout.

According to the release, Narendra Modi is the only Indian Chief Minister to be invited by Google to address at the Big Tent Activate Summit. His speech will focus on how web has influenced in shaping the future of India in all the important areas including Politics, Business, Economics, Education as well as Media and Culture.

The British newspaper’s ‘The Guardian’ Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Alan Rusbridger along with Stephanie Cutter, who in US President Barrack Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns served as the Deputy Director will also be seen participating in the Google Summit.

Google hosts the Big Tent Activate Summit and brings together the best and the finest world political leaders to talk on a variety of issues, said the release. Such Summits have already taken place all across the world including London, Madrid, New York, Berlin, Seoul, Nairobi and Moscow.

Nearly 1.3 million people follow Narendra Modi on twitter and this shows how popular Modi is among the world wide audiences. In august 2012, Narendra Modi first interacted through Google+ with the people.

Though the State release mentioned Modi as the only Indian Minister invited in the Summit, Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister, Jammu & Kashmir, has revealed on twitter that he has also been invited for the Summit.
