Sony has updated its Transfer software which makes it easy to switch from Apple’s iPhone to any of the Xperia phones. For that the users have to back up their iPhone in iTunes and then the Xperia Transfer software will do the rest for them transferring contacts, messages, calendar entries, notes, bookmarks, music, and other media to the Xperia phone.

According to a blog, this works with Sony’s Xperia V, Xperia VC, Xperia TC, Xperia T, Xperia TL and Xperia Z line.

Sony is not the first one to bring this easy to switch software; HTC did that too with its Sync Manager. I am not sure whether this will really attract Apple’s loyal consumers. Apple is not only known for its premium products but its loyal customers too. Since last two years Samsung has been successful to some extent when it comes to luring Apple’s customers towards Android but, still a lot of work is to be done in order to take over Apple’s lead in the smartphone industry.
