Samsung earlier requested the court to ban the Apple products in Japan. The court ruled that Samsung had not negotiated well with Apple over the patents so had no right to demand this ban. Talking to media Samsung’s spokesman told, “We are disappointed by today’s court decision. Following a thorough review of the ruling, we will take the measures necessary to protect our intellectual property rights”, reports AFP.

“After studying details of the court ruling, we will take necessary measures to protect our property rights”, Samsung added.

Earlier this year, U.S court rejected Apple’s request to ban the sales of Samsung smartphones. It should be noted that Apple is dominating the Japan market and Samsung is still struggling to make inroads into the Japanese phone and tablet market. Several patent lawsuits between the two companies are still going on in different countries and it seems like a never ending war.

Apple hasn’t commented on the recent ruling by the Japanese court.
