Equipped with features such as Lync, Exchange, and SharePoint Online, the business version of Office 365 can be used on up to five authorized devices. According to Microsoft Office Division President Kurt DelBene, “…everyone from large enterprises to small businesses to individual consumers can now benefit from the power of Office and the connectivity of the cloud.”

The announcement of a business version of Office 365 more or less completes the Office 365 in terms of plan and version availability. The cloud based productivity suite is now available for consumers, academic institutions and businesses.

The updated Office 365 has three new options for the business users:

  1. Office 365 ProPlus: The subscription charges for this package is $144 per user, per year which includes full access to  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, InfoPath and Access on up to five devices.
  2. Office 365 Midsize Business:  This package targets the medium-sized businesses and costs $180 per user, per year. The subscribers get extra benefits of Office 365 ProPlus.
  3. Office 365 Small Business Premium: This is designed for small businesses and costs $150 per user, pear year.
