According to a comScore report, Facebook garnered more than 53 million unique video viewers last month while Yahoo managed only 49 million. Google is still at the ace position with a whopping 157 million unique viewers.

Despite being second, Facebook was nowhere near Yahoo’s 625 million video views. Facebook users viewed 327 million videos. Further, when it comes to the average number of minutes per viewer, Facebook users watched 21.7 minutes of video as compared to Yahoo’s 70.4 minutes. Users on Google, thanks to YouTube, viewed on an average 8 hours of video content.

comScore report highlighted that “85.5 percent of the U.S. Internet audience viewed online video.” The report also noted that, “Video ads accounted for 20.7 percent of all videos viewed and 1.6 percent of all minutes spent viewing video online.”

Vevo and Microsoft have been placed at fourth and fifth position with 44.8 Million and 42.6 Million unique viewers for the month of July.
